A mesesorozatról röviden: Főhőse Masha, egy nyughatatlan kislány, aki mindig tele van energiával, s nem bír a fenekén megülni. A történet pedig arról szól, hogyan boldogul egy kicsi lány a nagyvilágban a bonyolult feladatok megoldásával, amit a felnőttek bíznak rá. Masha barátjával, a nyugis, lustácska medvével folyton elképesztő kalandokba keveredik.
